Mindful(l) thoughts
Some of it are what I picked up from reading a few things online, and talking to people, and some which I analysed and deciphered for myself.
1) "Be mindful. When you have been in a desert, a cup of water can look like an ocean". I had read this quote somewhere, and it acted as a gentle reminder for me when I needed to control my emotions. Not everyone has the same intentions and perspectives as you and at the lowest times of yours, even a simple act of kindness can mean a lot to you and sometimes you make a whole lot of other meaning out of it when it's just a small thing. Stay alert to control your feelings at times when you feel it is getting out of hand.
2) "Move like everything is gonna work out...Because it is". Doubts are common and doubt sometimes kills our confidence. Eventually, everything falls into place. That jigsaw puzzle gets completed. Everything takes its own sweet time to happen. Provide the time it requires and put in your efforts. The very thought 'it will happen' makes it happen, that is how the universe works by the way.
3) " Go make it happen". Don't wait too long or overthink. If you want to do something that you always wanted to do, now is the time. Move your lazy ass and go get it done. I always wanted to get another piercing to my ears and waited so long but I couldn't wait anymore. Got ready one day and went out with my friend and got it done. That's how you do it. At least I am like that. If I think of something, I want to get it done, or else I can't be in peace and that drives me to achieve what I want.
4) "Go on adventurous rides, live your life!". This month marks the most adventurous month of my life where I went to a place with my friends and it was no less than an adventure. Sometimes it's okay to tell lies within acceptable range to make it happen because you have got one life and you have got to witness every simple joy of life. Be careful and responsible. That is all that is required as a complimentary to your adventures. Nevertheless, do not make risky decisions and repent later. As said, within limits, everything is manageable and can be enjoyed.
5)"Put in your best efforts". Until the exam, all you can do is study whatever you can. You never know the sort of questions that appear. There are times in that preparation phase when you just want to stop and give up. But that is when you should not! It applies to life too because life is an actual, real exam. Put in your best efforts so that you won't repent later and have full satisfaction that you have done everything you could within your limits, just like the doctors do everything they can to save a patient's life.
Well, there are a lot of other things too that crossed my mind but these are some of the ones that were on top of my mind.
Let me know in the comments if you could resonate with it and how you manage such mindful(l) thoughts.
If you enjoyed reading it, do consider it sharing with your friends and family who might be interested in reading blogs.
I will come up with a new blog every month and subscribe to my blog page for such blogs.
Until next time,
Take care!
