Welcoming an other year!

Hey all and welcome to my third blog.

I wish you all a very happy new year. May you have a great year ahead with good health, happiness, success and prosperity. As I always believe, may 'you get what you want' this year.

I am welcoming an other year to start my new beginnings. I am happy to welcome this new year but at the same time I am being grateful to the year 2020.Yes,I do agree that, it had been a devastating year for the whole world in general due to Covid-19 but personally it's been one of my best year as I have made a whole lot of good memories ,be it passing my second PUC with flying colors, spending time with my family, learning new skills, experimenting while cooking, overcoming my fears and learning to ride a scooty and bike, getting my own second hand scooty, turning 18 and getting my DL(Drivers License), choosing a course of my interest and college of my choice, making new friends, experiencing the teaching of my new lecturers, opening this blog page and many more.

So, when someone asks me what's different about new year 2021,this would be my answer that I am going to share with you all now.

Experience is the best teacher. Experiencing so many sweet and bitter things in 2020 has made me a strong version of myself who can face anything been given to me now. I want to make 2021 a good and best year too. Now that there has been vaccine discovered for Covid 19,I hope to see better days ahead, although there are mutant varieties of virus arising. Always hoping  for the best and expecting nothing becomes important. Expecting less and working towards my goal becomes my priority for the year. Acquiring new skills, and practicing what I learn is one thing that I have decided to do this year.

Recently I read an article by Robin Sharma and his article in a way inspired me to cultivate new habits that I am hoping to start from today. Exercising daily and keeping myself fit, eating healthy, maintaining  a night journal, making sure that I study at least for an hour daily, reading at least two pages of English and Kannada novels, and being grateful to what I have are my resolutions for the new year. Every year I take up resolutions but fail to follow it. But I want to make this year different by following all my resolutions till the year end.

I go by the above image and want to overcome all my flaws and be a better version of myself compared to the last year. I hope you might have taken resolutions too, and I wish, you all succeed in following that and the write-up in the above image is a piece of advice that I had read somewhere and had been on my study table for years and I think  it may help you to get motivated when you think you are losing it.

Always remember that being grateful is one of the key to happiness, so be grateful and happy always!

Hence, I leave you here with this thought. If you have liked my blog ,feel free to share it.

  3. I relate to so many things that you have written about in this blog, time with your family, new experiences and one difference, still trying to get over my fear of riding 😬. But i do believe that I will get there and not pressuring yourself but encouraging yourself is very important and that's what I believe in.
I very strongly agree that gratitude and contentment are the keys to happiness 😌
Happy New year and may "you get what you want"💗

  5. Congratulations on getting your DL and learning to ride a bike! That's amazing. I've tried keeping something called a 'gratitude journal' before. You write down ONE thing you're greatful for everyday. It's amazing how one line can affect your outlook on life and your mental health so positivity. Thought you'd like to know. Amazing work as always <3
