You get what you want

Hey all and welcome to my second blog.

First of all, I would like to thank each and everyone of you who shared my first blog and showered me with beautiful comments and messages. I was very happy to receive such an overwhelming and huge response to my very first blog which I had never expected.

I think all of you have read the title of this blog and yes, you read it right, 'You get what you want'. This was told to me by one of my science teacher whom I love and respect the most. She was a senior teacher who was very knowledgeable and a great human being .I was in ninth grade and she was our science teacher and I had heard a lot of good things about her by my seniors and I wanted her to be my teacher ever since then and at last, fortunately, I was able to be her student for one year and after which she took voluntary retirement as per I know. She was referred to as MV and all my classmates would be eagerly waiting for her class and it was not that we loved the science more but it was because of the fact that she would tell us amazing and interesting psychological details. She was genius and gem of a person who would read so many novels and books and whenever we went to staff room we would find her reading some or the other novel. Once she had told us the story of a boy named Santiago, who was a shepherd  and went in search of treasure following his dream. It changed my perspective of seeing the world and life in general. I later got to know that it was the story taken by the book called The Alchemist which was written by the famous author Paulo Coelho. It's basically a fable about following our dreams and even now, when I read this book it gives me a whole different dimension towards life.

It was our last class with her and she knew the art of face reading and as we had requested her to tell a few words about everyone in the class, she went on to do so. When it was my turn she told me that I get what I want and I being stubborn will achieve it and she advised me only one thing that I should aim high as the sky is the limit. From that day onwards I went on to believe her words. I do agree that we do not get everything we wish for but we surely do get what we want if it's genuine and if we deserve it. When I connect the dots backwards and think, I always got what I wanted and if I didn't get anything I wished for ,it only means that I haven't worked hard for it. Only wishing for something doesn't help unless you work for it. If you have worked hard then you deserve that thing and universe will surely help you get it. Every time I am sad or feeling low I will remember this and the very thought of this gives me a new ray of hope. BELEIF,FAITH,HOPE are all the magical words that make your life better.

Believing in oneself and working hard towards the goal leads to, you getting what you want and this is the power of optimism and a great manifestation.

So, rewind your memories and feel a little nostalgic and think what all you got that you wished for genuinely. I am sure if you needed that thing the most, you would have got that and in the future too, you will get what you want. But always remember to follow 3Ds before being sad for what you didn't get. They are DETERMINATION,DEDICATION and DEVOTION. If we all follow this and work towards our dreams, no one can stop us from getting what we want and achieving our goals. As Amir Khan says ALL IS WELL! in the movie 3 Idiots, my good to go mantra of life is' YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT'. This has helped me in all the situations and made my life better when I am feeling low and I am sure if you believe in this line, it may become your tagline for your life too.

Hence, I leave you here with this thought. If you have liked my blog feel free to share it.
